Adult Classes
Pack Dance is the only professional dance company in the St. Louis area that specializes in open level drop-in classes for busy adults. We offer a wide variety of dance classes to the public taught by adults, for adults. You do not have to be a professional or aspiring dancer to enjoy our drop-in dance classes. We open our doors to the community, so that everyone can practice dance as an art form. We hope you will find practicing dance to be as fulfilling and healing as we do.
There are no leveled classes at Pack Dance. We focus on artistry and creativity over technique in our classrooms, however classes do incorporate technique. Our talented staff of teaching artists offer modifications for people who have no dance experience while simultaneously offering amplifications for experienced dancers. Our classes are drop-in by design which means that even if you attend a class where the teacher has already taught the choreography, the entire piece will be taught again, from the beginning. Attend regularly to set goals and work toward new accomplishments or attend as your schedule allows for a movement experience that challenges your mind and body. Pack Dance is a pretentious-free space that welcomes every body type, age, gender, sex, race, ethnicity and ability. Similarly, if you want to take your dance practice more seriously, private lessons may be a good path for you.
Our class cards never expire, allowing you to have the freedom of coming and going as your schedule allows without the worry of losing your investment. You can reserve a drop-in class in advance for only $20, or pay at the door for $25. We have limited staff to support walk-up clients and in the event a class gets cancelled, we won’t know to notify you if you haven’t registered in advance.
